Who are we?
The Kentucky Christmas Tree
Association is a non-profit organization of Christmas tree growers and
technical professionals dedicated to promoting the Christmas tree industry in
Kentucky.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
- To provide
a forum for members to share the latest ideas, materials, and equipment related
to the production of quality Christmas trees in Kentucky.
- To keep
members informed of current developments, trends and research
results.
- To promote
Kentucky grown Christmas trees through a unified marketing
strategy.
- To promote
the production and harvest of high quality Christmas trees by encouraging use
of accepted Christmas tree grading standards.
- To educate
the consumer regarding issues such as; environmental and economic benefits from
growing, using and recycling "real" Christmas trees.
- To
cooperate with local, state and federal law-making bodies on matters affecting
Christmas trees and associated products.
- To
encourage, promote and assist financing, where possible, the research work done
by private, state and federal agencies or educational institutions in this
field.
